Care for your Horse Tails R Us tail as you would real hair. You can wash it, brush it, dry it - but be gentle; any hair you tear or break WILL NOT GROW BACK! Store in a protective case and always make sure it is completely dry before storing!

Brush and detangle both the horse’s real tail and the tail extension.
Determine how high the extension needs to be attached – leave it up a little higher than what you think to allow clearance when backing up.
Part the natural hair side to side and clip the rest of the hair out of your way to allow you to see what you are doing.
Make a braid 4-6 inches long on the Left side of the horse's tailbone. Secure with a rubber band.
Repeat step 4 on the Right side of the horse's tailbone.
Slip both braids through the loops on the extension and wrap at least once, going back through the loop.
Take the two braids and braid together with a section of hair from the extension, braid down 2-3”, secure with a rubber band.
Secure the braids to the extension top with electrical tape for good measure. DO NOT WRAP TAPE AROUND THE TAILBONE!!!
